Recent Youth2000 publication links strong cultural identity with better mental health outcomes for rangatahi

In an analysis of Youth'12 data, Ashlea Williams, Terryann Clark & Sonia Lewycka found that Māori youth who have a strong cultural identity were more likely to experience good mental health outcomes and that discrimination has a serious negative impact on Māori youth mental health.
