Youth19 East Asian, South Asian, Chinese and Indian Students in Aotearoa, Report Launch – Auckland & online, 24 June 2021
FREE | Thurs 24 June 2021 | 12–1.30 pm | Auckland & Online
In another first for the Youth2000 series, we will present findings about the health and wellbeing of East Asian and South Asian students, as well as that of Chinese and Indian students. Our results highlight the importance of disaggregating youth data for Asian students, rather than reporting results for all Asian groups combined. These findings offer a better understanding of the relationships between ethnicity and health, and identify opportunities for interventions.
Presented by Associate Professor Roshini Peiris-John (University of Auckland), Associate Professor Terry Fleming (Te Herenga Waka–Victoria University of Wellington) Lovely Dizon & Nikki Singh, with guests Prof Robert Scragg & Ivan Yeo.
Hosted by the Centre for Asian and Ethnic Minority Health Research and Evaluation (CAHRE), University of Auckland
Where: Building 505, Room 007 | Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences | University of Auckland | Park Road | Grafton | Auckland. And live online.
