‘Asian’ label hides health inequalities among school students – media release available

A media release to accompany our new East Asian, South Asian, Chinese and Indian Students in Aotearoa report was released today by University of Auckland.

The New Zealand Herald featured findings from the report, with comment from Associate Professor Roshini Peiris-John (report lead author, University of Auckland), Ivan Yeo (Asian Family Services), Nikki Singh (report co-author, research assistant and youth worker), and high school students Annemarie Wen and Claudia Wen.
